So I was shopping for discounted gift cards last month and found amoozle.com.

I bought 2 2-for-1 deals on 12/29. $50 for $29.95 each. Woot!

I thought it was a good deal, but I haven’t decided yet if it really is or not.

I got the Walmart e-card 3 days ago, discovered that you can’t use gift cards for Walmart’s beta grocery delivery service. So I used the e-card to buy a physical gift card. Got it and spent it today.

Now I have to do some cooking.

I’m still waiting for the Amazon card to come, but I’ve already spent it in my head.

I haven’t had a whole lot of things to say lately.

I haven’t even had that much to bitch about.

Strange.

But I’m sure with the weather turning to crap I’ll be able to find something.

I’m really beginning to suspect that De Anza won’t accept the credits I got from BSU’s swimming class. So as an extra precaution against having to jump through unplanned hoops I have gone ahead and registered for some Physical Education classes.

Now I just have to get a frick’n job.

The unemployment will last for another 12 + 6 weeks. Hopefully I’ll have a job before it runs out.

I just want a job (that I have trained and gone to school for).

(And a car.)

I registered for the ICS requirement I still need to graduate.

Classes start on Monday.

Other than that I’ve got nothing.

I’m starting to get a little angry.

For a while I was getting a little down because I feel a little like I’m going no where…
I haven’t heard any thing from De Anza regarding either my certificate of completion or a determination on the last credits I need to get my AA.
I haven’t really heard any thing from the different hospitals I have been applying to.
I had an interview with the Red Cross on Tuesday, I was supposed to hear back from them by Friday. I’ve gotten nothing.

All that is one thing, but now I have a little bit of new drama.

The family I was doing that home care job for paid me for the 18th on the 17th before I actually did the work. I went ahead and worked the 18th, got my check, and that should have been the end of that job.

But they use a payroll company called Breed Love, and I got an email from Breed Love on the 24th telling me I could view my new paystub on their web site. The family paid me twice for the 18th.

Now I am willing to assume that it was an honest mistake, I called the family to let them know they need to correct this little mistake. BUT I also know that the father has a gambling problem and may be trying to steal money with my name.

To say nothing of the fact that their false reports can screw up my unemployment claims and get me audited.

Monday I will call Breed Love to see if they are open so I can be sure this little mistake is fixed.
